Challenger Banner Design

Challenger is a product initiative aimed at redefining the way users shop for credit cards. For the Challenger Banner Design, our goal was to test how dynamic visual treatment within the banner section could drive user engagement and increase pre-approval conversion.

MY CONTRIBUTION

Led visual design and layout optimization for the hero banners, tailoring assets to each screen size and test cell. Collaborated on shaping the test strategy by helping define meaningful cell variations based on visual hierarchy and customer segments.

PROCESS

Optimized imagery for responsiveness by making informed design modifications to maintain consistency across variants and implemented new Capital One brand refresh standards, while aligning with Challenger’s broader optimization goals. Delivered streamlined, development-ready design files that ensured feasibility and test integrity.

OUTCOME

The Challenger Banner Design drove a +10% lift in PV/visitor compared to the existing experience, validating the impact of strong, user-centered visuals at the top of the funnel.
